one of my test runs! basically the question i asked was how do we get people to care about what's happening, and this says "we are in a moment of denial and blocked by naïveté. anxiety got us here. do not give in to depression. find youthfulness, idealism, spirituality. use nostalgia."

And she'd found a beautifully ornate, sunny deck. It had beautiful gold accents on it, the lines inked in glimmering liquid metal, and the edges were lined with gold as well. She hadn't thought twice; she'd handed the deck to the shopkeeper, who looked her over, then handed the deck back and said, "Shuffle and draw." The peripherals of her vision began to blur. It was an aura, the migraine about to close in on her, and the shopkeeper said again, insistent, demanding: "Shuffle and draw." She held the soft deck, then started moving the cards in her hand, leafing them through one another, her motions driven by a need to be rid of the migraine one way or another, and then she stopped. Because something in her said to stop. Bee turned the top card over. A sleeping princess, a ghost form standing by her side, prepared to walk away. On the top of the card: XIII. The bottom read "Death". She looked up. "Something's about to change, isn't it?" The shopkeeper smiled, something knowing and not entirely pleasant. "Or it already has, young one. That's on the house."

i got my deck and i'm terrified of march, may, december 🥺 i did pull clarifying cards (and i LOVE that practice) and they made some of it better and some of it worse. who pulls wheel of fortune and strength to go with the ten of swords???
