What a pleasure to re-visit the exhilarating 'The Chaos That Has Been...', at @swkplay.bsky.social. The play tackles some hard-hitting societal issues with youthful energy and humour. The cast are astonishing. If you like your theatre raw and uncompromising then do not miss this treat.

Hugely enjoyable night out yesterday seeing 'Get Happy' at @omnibustheatre.bsky.social. Written & performed by the enormously talented @josephaldous.bsky.social, it was very funny and powerfully moving. Relaxed Q&A with @terripaddock.bsky.social afterwards was illuminating. Rush to see this one!

Vibrant and inventive 80th anniversary adaptation of Orwell's classic 'Animal Farm' from Stratford East, @nottmplayhouse.bsky.social & Leeds Playhouse. Frighteningly relevant to today. Triumphant theatre, brilliantly played and staged. Well worth seeing.

Loved #TheSharkIsBroken at Richmond Theatre. Very funny while tackling boredom, insecurity and alcohol dependency. Three fine actors tell the story brilliantly. Kudos to Ridiculous Solutions. Sink your teeth into it!

There can't be many plays as thrilling as 'The Passenger' in London right now. @robertnj.bsky.social gives a magnetic performance as Otto and is ably supported by a versatile and talented cast. The confined space of the @finboroughtheatre.bsky.social puts you at the heart of the action too. Superb.

Hugely enjoyable evening at the Omnibus Theatre, seeing 'Miss Brexit'. Very likeable and talented international cast gave their all in this camp satire about British values. I particularly enjoyed George Berry's fearless turn as the MC. Sexy and fun - don't miss it!

Connecting with nature

Last night I saw the excellent #toysoldierplay at @waterlooeast.bsky.social. I loved how it focused on the casualties of war whose stories are seldom heard. Beautifully acted. Catch it until February 2nd.
