The thing is that, until 3/7/24, I was sole person responsible for day-to-day running of El Nacional IN ENGLISH. Then they fired me and others (and did it badly). But the main news page in English remained on-line and frozen: showing the same outdated stories every day to a few confused readers!

The Aguirre photo on the cover of El Nacional's edition in Catalan won't last long. However, since July 2nd, this same photo has been PERMANENTLY on display on the cover of El Nacional's ENGLISH edition. www.elnacional.cat/en/ Same photo, same article every morning: "Groundhog Day".

A curious coincidence: on the cover of Catalan digital elnacional.cat today, for the first time since last summer, is a photo that I know all too well of disobedient Spanish judge Joaquín Aguirre.
