Excellent zoom last night with Sen Chuck Schumer & Ana Maria Archila of WFP, urging us to reach out to any 'moderate' Republican in Congress (especially NYS) and urge them to oppose the MAGA bill to slash funding to SNAP, Medicare, Medicaid & healthcare to children and other vulnerable populations.

A good friend of mine is a veteran who just returned to the workforce now that her children are school aged. She has been told she'll probably be terminated for being recently hired by the government. No other reason.
