Just finished a weekend of baking Christmas cookies for my work colleagues! It’s amazing how a simple homemade treat can brighten up the team! 😁

3of 3 allow to cool 10 minutes on cookie sheet after removed from oven. As soon as baking sheet comes out of oven use a glass or small bowl to swirl the cookies into a round shape. Use a hot pad to hold baking sheet. Also line baking sheet with parchment paper. I think that is it. Post pictures!!

2 of 3 scrape bowl as needed, add egg and egg yolk mix well, add flour mixture. Mix until almost combined. Add in 2 cups of chocolate chips, or 1 cup each of your add ins. Bake at 400 for about 8-9 minutes for 1. 5 oz cookie dough. Do not roll into ball. Kind of scoop and shape lightly.

1 1/4 c Ap flour, 3/4 c cake flour, 1 tsp cornstarch, 1/2 tsp each of baking powder, baking soda and salt. 1/2 c COLD butter, cut into small cubes, 1/4 c sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar packed, 1 egg and 1 yolk room temp. NO vanilla. Mix dry in a bowl.

And so begins! 2 kinds of cookie, one dough recipe. Made this evening.The dough recipe will be used for dark cocoa cranberry walnut chocolate chip, chocolate chip walnut, white and dark chocolate chip, white chocolate chip and raspberry. #cookieparty

Apparently you can take the girl out of church but at Christmas it’s a little harder to take church out of the girl. Case in point. The nativity went up today.
