Tripped and fell hard Thursday due to an upheaved sidewalk slab. Bruised and scraped hands and knees, badly wrenched ribs. Maintenance work is safety work! + accessibility: a wheelchair user couldn't travel this. #RoadSafety #transportation #infrastructure #walking #walkability #accessibility

Intercity Transit in Olympia WA is awesome for a number of reasons, including this sign in a seat when we got on this evening to go home after walking downtown for dinner. Transit and civil rights have traveled together a long time.

Souvenir of today's bicycle outing: an actual physical library card from a visit to an actual physical library (plus a book). I've been getting ebooks for 4 years and this was my first time inside Timberland Library since we moved to Olympia. Libraries are awesome!
