Not about the bloke's 'prominent position' in an as yet un formed party though eh? I'll leave you with this. Zarah is a co founder. Adnan isn't even confirmed as being interested in being an MP for the new party. Just like greens his ideals will have to align with the party's values

Labour Councillors are standing up to Starmer. Labour councillors in Nottinghamshire (20 councillors) and Warwickshire (3 councillors) and maybe other councils, have resigned from the Labour party with one saying their local Labour group is 'not led in an ethical or inclusive way'.
Statement from Preston Labour Party calling for Starmer to immediately recognise the State of Palestine, add pressure to gain a permanent end to the bombing and seige of Gaza from the Israeli government and to ensure immediate access is allowed of humanitarian aid by the UN and international aid agencies, a call to suspend all arms sales to israel with immediate effect, ban important from illegal settlements and support the upholding of international law with appropriate investigation and accountability for breaches. We join over 200 MP's, French President Macron, the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan and the TUC by making similar demands. We will not remain silent, we will continue to speak out. We urgent fellow local authorities, individuals and organisations to speak up for justice and international law.
