Artist. Vigilist. Protectress.

Stop all war. Close all slaughterhouses. Tend to all life in need.
I stopped writing on Substack months ago. I've been dealing with basic survival and, although I continue to do so, I thought it time to return to writing again. Below is my current focus. I put it out to the universe in hope of support for doing the best that I can for the greater good. Blessings.

The greatest perceived, and rightly so, threat to men who seek to order the world to their liking are women who refuse to "know their place" and whose compassion for human and nonhuman life, and nothing less, give them their marching orders.

While men stay the home front, it is for women to march.

90% of hourly wage earners and 60% of salaried make less than $29/hr.

AI says it is not enough for basic needs.

Most young people do not have a chance to rise into their own on their own. And many elderly are working until death.

We are subsidizing the predator class with our lives. It's enough.

My Sunday message to the human species:

Close all slaughterhouses. End all wars.

Choose universal compassion.

When I heard about this 50 year mortgage, I was inflamed because I have always hated the way that repayment of a mortgage is structured.

So I asked: How much interest on an average new home loan would a mortgage holder pay at the current interest rate with a 30 year mortgage and a 50 year mortgage?

I haven't known how to introduce myself on Bluesky but thought I'd share this as a possibility, one that could prove to be mutually beneficial.

After 15+ years of caring for my elderly parents, who have both now passed, my once big world became very small.

It's time to come out of the woodwork.

My thought on the matter.

Some old photography of flowers in the backyard, because it is comforting to remember gentler times.

I just noticed these two photos in two different bluesky posts, and took grabs of them.

It looks like the image is from about the same time on the same day, but the hats are different.

Was it just a change of hat, or is one photo doctored?

I've learned that when I express my compassion for humans, pets or species in the wild, I am received well on social media. When discovering that my compassion extends to “farmed animals," that openness often disappears.

It prompts me to write on our capacity to "suffer with," a.k.a. compassion.

I believe that all should have the vote, of course, and apologize for the broad strokes.

The point is that it may prove more strategically beneficial to form the case AGAINST men having the vote than defending why women should have the vote.

We've done that.

It's fire with fire time.

More than resistance, it is time to redefine who we are and how we work. It is time to inform elected officials of our vision for our country. It is time to give the orders.

Here are some opening thoughts.

I wake this Sunday to the stark realization that the piercing goal of all to the left of the Trump faithful should be to set sights on the Republican Party landing itself in the dustbin of U.S. history as quickly and smoothly as possible.

I do mean that it land itself.

We need only shine a light.

In my view, it is so.

We are missing out on our greater promise as individuals, as a people, and as a species.

The vast majority of us spend the vast majority of our lives in struggle and in debt for basic survival.

RADICAL CHANGE IS WARRANTED.

We must forge a world worthy of every child.

It's no surprise that Trump forces want to repeal the 19th amendment.

It's just another sign that we so need to strategize how best to kick ass, nonviolently of course, so that we can move beyond our 1776 status as subjects and get on with forging a compassion-based commons worthy of our children.

More flowers from the yard. (Yep, I am taking a mental/emotional break in between writing. It's intense out there.)

Yesterday, I plugged in an old desktop for the distraction and found writings for a television series I'd forgotten that I'd written. It is based on decades of dreams I've had, and continue to have.

It's called "The Ultimatum." Here's a bit of it.

I so wish that I had made it happen.

Flowers from my yard, just in case anyone needs a mental or emotional break. Blessings to all.

As I find myself holding this "love as big as all existence" space in response to the cruelty of the Trump administration's actions, I share a poem of sorts.

It is my poem. I wrote it after decades of not being able to express what I have felt inside since childhood.

My blessings to all.
