Excellent visit with @laurencemarks.bsky.social to the Oxford Literary Festival this morning to listen to @richardcoles.bsky.social talking to Triona Adams which inevitably led to more book purchases ... breakfast at The Ivy was pretty good too 🙂📚

Very much enjoyed ‘Live A Little’ although I didn’t find it as funny as the cover blurb quotes suggested

We love the Alexandra Hotel although I don't think we have tried their afternoon tea

Train from Paddington doesn't seem to be behaving this evening for some reason 🙁 Hopefully everyone will manage to get to where they are going 🛤️

Knitting is taking a back seat at the moment while I try to finish my Christmas present jigsaw. I would love to know if the person who thought all the white was a good idea actually finished any of them 🧩😡J
Jigsaw puzzle of Oxford as if it was set out as an underground map. Anything with colour/writing has been done leaving a vast amount of pure white and the edge pieces which are black and white and also nearly impossible

Finally started watching The Turkish Detective based on the books by @barbaranadel.bsky.social and now obviously want to go to Istanbul ... can't wait to watch the rest of it although we are very good/old school about watching one episode at a time

Every remaining piece in this #jigsaw is either an edge piece or is entirely white ... I am reluctant to give up but am not sure whether it is worth the effort involved to finish it. My friend isn't sure either 🧩🐈

Christmas peanuts and panetonne finished - just a small amount of Christmas pudding left to go. Not a massive fan of Christmas pud but this one, which wasn't what I originally ordered, is seriously good
