De-webbing the basement - vacuuming up old webs and some dead spiders. Hauling 10 bags of various salt and melt into the mudroom. Climate change is giving us new winter surprises, tho’ today is a regular treacherous ‘wintery mix’, on the border of rain and snow.

15 gallons of the safest ice melt. It will be my first time using a bung wrench! My brain is excited by that. First time using a liquid pre-snow treatment. Hoping it causes reduced shoveling to help my old back.
