Three days of caulking, painting, and repainting baseboard trim, I’ve literally worn a hole in my knee. Not the knee with the meniscus torn by my dog’s hard skull. The good one.

MPR news is reporting that Senator Tina Smith was on the assassin’s list of lawmakers to target.
I am heartbroken beyond words that Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark have died in a violent and politically motivated shooting. Melissa was an exceptional public servant. She was smart and funny and so dedicated to making Minnesota work better for all of us.

Day 6. I want learn chords up the neck, so I’m putting 1 in each song. Today was the C chord, but after doing scales & some “spiders” to warm up, my new wrist/thumb joint said, “Nope.”
So I’m putting the ukulele away for today I’m going to watch hockey. Because Minnesota.
