I was honored to have my Sunny Ranunculus chosen for the cover of their artists guide and used in the advertising and promotional materials.

I went to Bakersfield yesterday to see Bernie and AOC. The head of the farmworkers union spoke. Delores Huerta was there, who co-founded the union with Cesar Chavez. AOC and Bernie spoke so much kindness and common sense. I hope to see them again.

Trump golfs while Americans protest.
Hands Off protest in Sacramento yesterday. There were many thousands of people there, speakers and music. Many creative signs including a guy wearing a cardboard tesla on fire, a penguin opposed to tariffs. It was inspiring to see really elderly grammas with signs on their walkers saying f*** tRump!

Good turnout tonight for the CODA Exhibit reception at the R. Blitzer Gallery. A couple of my favorites out of many favorites and one of mine. The show will be up until April 26th. Great to see so many talented photographers in the Santa Cruz area.

My daughter's bff was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer last year, but the good news is she was selected for a German personalized vaccine. She will travel there 11 times this year for the treatments, all expenses paid by an anonymous donor. So happy for Sarah to have a serious chance at a future!

Peony Reverberations is part of the Movement photo exhibit at the Santa Cruz Art League. The opening reception was last night. I was particularly struck with Huve Rivas image of a dancer in Cuba and a Whirly Gig by Keith Munger. This show will be up until 2/21/23

Went to Sacramento today for the 50501 protest. Great turnout of several hundred people at such short notice. It did me good to chant and hold up my Impeach Musk sign. Great to be around so many like minded people.
