I would have started the paperwork to deport convicted violent criminals from our prisons, but that’s just me. Noncitizens only represent about 16% of federal prison population. www.bop.gov/about/statis...

This is in the spirit of due process and eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse - if these are actual goals.

How many CONVICTED non-citizens have actually been deported to their home countries from U.S. prisons since January? Just asking, because when voters complained about paying to lock up violent criminals here, I don’t think the plan was, “Cool, let’s just wire the money to El Salvador instead.”
