Proud to stand with Casa San José, SEIU, USW, Unite Here, Starbucks Workers United and unions around the US to demand the release of SEIU CA prez David Huerta. Make no mistake: ICE is not about safety, it's about terrorizing immigrants. Very glad to see so many Pghers come out to say not our city.

Preserving decaying units is the most cost-effective way to secure affordable housing. Helping landlords make repairs in exchange for keeping a unit affordable allows them to keep renting to lower-income folks long into the future - even as rents in the neighborhood go up. So yeah, it "counts". 🧵
