I have this thought more often than I can count. I don't think I'm going to make it all the way to 65 (70?) in my field. Is 42 too early to retire?

As a Christian, I am regularly embarrassed by crap like this. Jesus didn’t tell us to divorce our brains and pretend everything is fine. Jesus told us to get in there and do the hard, messy work of pursuing justice and loving the people society leaves behind.

So instead I've decided to settle in with India Holton's more cozy romance books for a little bit to soothe my soul. I mean sure, pirates and witches and spies SOUNDS stressful but there's also an abundance of witty literary references, beautiful HEAs, and so. much. tea. (aka the appropriate amount)
