Well here I am un-retiring again, teaching COMM 331 News Literacy at Cal State Fullerton in spring 2025.
55 years since I sold my first story while a high school freshman — a prep football brief, and my LA Times editor, the legendary Dave Distel, rewrote every word.
But I got my $10 and a career.
