Bless 🙏 they did a great job with SH2. Would've been disappointed if they got a different team to do it and this way it can feel similar since it's remade by the same team!

I tried playing this morning and people are just violent in the mornings, I kept getting shot at when just trying to take out some snitches, within minutes of the start of the round 😭

Yeeeeah. Which is not good when you already have a confusing amount of boxes you're trying to sell. This is a much better way to do hardware for "console" style gaming.

Like I dunno if you remember but Steamdeck did have some OS issues at launch. Now imagine that, but a version several years older 😂

It was a rudimentary version of the steamOS we have now. It was not great tbh, but it was the stepping stone that lead to our current steamOS which is obviously much better as they've had years to refine it

Not to mention much easier to optimize for. It's how we get Steamdeck verified. Much easier to optimize for 1 set of specs. I imagine as a result things will work better on it than similarly powered but different systems. It's certainly how Steamdeck runs things better than it feels like it should 😆

They tried in 2017 but it wasn't internally made. They licensed it out to multiple companies who all had multiple versions. It was still complex, basically like buying a laptop. You still had to check specs and shop around. This is 1 box, 1 set of specs. Just like consoles. Easy for consumers
