Once the courts lose independence, nothing stops the state from overriding local elections or punishing cities. A governor can reshape entire regions simply by threatening judges who stand up for local rights. They called it accountability when it was really about control & punishment.

It's been driving me crazy because the talking point just goes by and no one says anything. And it's not true the insurance companies like United healthcare They need to know now if the subsidies are going to be included in January 1 because they have to price the policies on the exchange. Soon!!

Because I understand it and I'm listening to these news talk shows and the Reps are winning the damn talking point and they shouldn't be because they're lying. Please do what you can to make it clearer to people. @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social

I keep hearing Reps on the talk shows saying oh this doesn't take effect until Jan 1. @schumer.senate.gov You guys have to be better about articulating that we need to know NOW. B4 Open Enrollment if those subsidies are going to be included! You guys need to say it like people are 5 years old.
