Xavier coasts to a 94-74 win. It wasn't art, but they don't ask how (sometimes), they just ask how many. Good Roddie was torch hot and had 28, but his teammates let him down by getting a little greedy and not find him for his 30. It's on to UC.

This Tru TV package is quite good. I like the announcers, who are admittedly just filling time now, and the production level is in a different galaxy than ESPN. Looking forward to more of this.

Xavier is up to 5-8 from behind the arc and the game is really starting to open up because of that.

Xavier is averaging 1.288 points per possession despite shooting 6-22 behind the arc and only having seven free throws... and the occasional missed dunk.

Just a simple thought at the half: Xavier is dangerously bad at the rim. They are 9-16 today. That's always an issue, but when you can't erase that by scoring in bunches from deep, you invite trouble. That needs fixed by Friday.

Good Roddie is here today. His fallaway at the half has Xavier up 11. The Musketeers are winning, but they aren't playing as well as they have been lately.

Xavier is up 10 with 2:45 to play in the first half. This despite shooting, frankly, horribly. Tre Carroll and Roddie Anderson are 10-14, everyone else is 4-19.

Xavier is 3-14 from behind the arc and 6-12(!) at the rim. I still argue this team is enjoyable to watch, but sometimes they really struggle.

X is 3-9 from deep after one from Carroll. Very refreshing to not hear an announcer plead with them to get the ball in the paint.

Two good games on the trot and we're feeling good about Xavier. X has become dependent on the three pointer and it is working, mostly. The defense isn't great, the two point shooting is dreadful, and yet X is getting better. There's reason for hope!

Players other than that top four were good for 7/11/6 in 62 minutes tonight. That won't get it done.
