In summary I am Ukraine and my brother is Russia.
The irony is that he is fluent in Russian, lived there for several years teaching English, his wife is Russian and he always ask my kids if they will study Russian when they are older.

One of my kids left Halloween candy on the basement floor and there was a candy burglar who would’ve easily taken top prize in a banjo man look alike contest.
