A lot of the ones that suck live in Alberta.

So I've removed their access to me entirely, because among those reasons, they were also why my dad continued to have access to me until he died. They bailed him out of jail after he SA'd me for 3 years as a child. And I never forgave them for that.

So good riddance.

One told me a story about something I did when I was a toddler, and she implied that the bad behaviour I showed was from my mom, when it was most definitely from my dad. They don't know me, didn't really know my mom, never wanted to know my sister, and obviously don't care to change that.

Hopefully one day I won't even have to deal with the idea that I'm too much, or not good enough or interesting enough or funny enough.

Tonight I was struggling with feeling like enough and feeling like too much all at once. It's a lingering issue for me, but in that quiet space with my partner, I'm able to just be and it's okay. I don't know if I've properly conveyed to them why that means so much to me.
