Fortunate to live in Portland, OR but I travel all over the place. Democracy, mental health, the outdoors & wildlife, music, baseball.

Thanks and I’m sure it’s kinda my bad. I could have spent 30 second looking it up. Hope it was a success!

Getting migrants is a pretty good thing. Massive contribution to our collective wealth and standing in the world. These people are racists AND idiots.

Yeah. He’ll do something that shocks and disgusts us again, even when we thought it was no longer possible.

Even if this is the case, that doesn’t diminish what Massie is saying. Not trying to be difficult w you because it’s reprehensible if it’s about oil OR ‘immigration’

I’m being a little flip cuz I know there are some cool events focused on the river (the blues fest and the efforts to clean up and swim and float on the river; Xmas boats!) but it just seems we could make it more positive part of our daily lives. Make it easier to just look at etc!
December 11, 2025 at 10:16 PM
Oh I agree! I live in Portland myself and just have long thought that the river *could* be one of the great assets of the city, but somehow we’ve made it into something we just have bridges over.
