There it is! There is a lot that is unsatisfying about this Test match, but as Tuffers notes on TMS, a win is a win! It has been a long time since we have managed that in Australia, so it is worth celebrating. #Ashes

I read that the groundsman (or chief executive of turf or whatever his full title is) left extra grass on the wicket to make sure it still played okay on days 3--5. Welp. #Ashes

Oh, I like this! With the conditions this random and slogging appearing to be the winning strategy it makes good sense to send a lower order batsman in. If he gets out slogging, it's fine! #Ashes

I actually don't know why Starc doesn't go back to that wide, seaming delivery to Duckett that he can't make himself leave, but could only nick it if he made contact. #Ashes

I know this pitch is just doing a lot, but as usual Starc looks like he's getting more out of it than anyone almost too much. But I wonder how much he has in the tank after bowling last night too. #Ashes

I was about to say I have no idea why Starc would bowl anywhere than short-ish and well wide of off stump to Duckett, when Duckett gave a c&b chance to one on leg. #Ashes
