Agreed. I've seen plenty of anime & I loved a lot of it. I can respect it as a stylistic choice & genre, & have no qualms there.
While it heavily influenced my art, I always try to include features not typically seen in anime (aquiline noses for women, thicker bodies, avoid same face syndrome etc)
