If the ex-PM of the country is advocating drowning asylum seekers at sea (does he think we can't see through his flowery language?), it's not that big a jump to shooting people on the beaches...

Agreed. I was really hoping this government would hit the ground running with Leveson 2 (I mean what do they have to lose given how much the press hate them?), and we might finally see the end of this cesspit. But no.
