I love it here in Japan. I love getting better at the language and the experiences I’m having. I could live here.
Though talking to natives, who wish they could live elsewhere, and expats, who are here more to run from their problems than pursue something they love, reminds me of how fortunate I am

I really got sucked into Where the Demon Lurks. Very well done visual novel. But I really can’t recommend to people unfinished work. Even now I’m left feeling kind of empty about it.

I was talking to a parent last night and she’s telling me “I grew up with an Apple III and programming in DOS - that’s how old I am.”

Today has been filled with a lot of talk about race. It made me realize how lucky I am that I grew up in the very specific microcosm that I did.
What I wish most is that any of these discussions first and foremost recognize the concept that when talking about race, we are talking about individuals.
