Ba'ahl grew up in a Seeker tribe that had it's territory in the wetlands between the Black Shroud and Thanalan. He left on a bad note and the tribe was destroyed in the Calamity so he couldn't go back to visit even if he wanted to.

For Ba'ahl it's the fact that he completely and genuinely could not care less what others think of him. It makes him a bit prickly socially, but he is incredibly hard to influence and has a powerful strength of will.

Ba'ahl enjoyed living in Gridania. He met some good people amd the lifestyle felt natural to him. However, it was too close to where he grew up and he knew he couldn't make the life he wanted there. So, he always knew he would leave eventually.

For anyone who doesn't know, Ba'ahl is a Nunh, but a fraudulent one. He left his tribe because, despite being the perfect candidate for a Nunh position, he was deemed unqualified for reasons beyond his strength or skill, so he set out to start his own tribe.

Ba'ahl works as a freelance security escort for cargo and transportation ships around Limsa Lominsa. He does so in an effort to save up enough to buy some tracks of land to start his tribe on. He's not especially good at saving money, though.

Ba'ahl hides his compassion. Experiences during his adolescence made him believe he had to be as tough and self-sufficient as possible in order to be respected, so he has a hard time showing true compassion and vulnerability to others or having it shown to him.

Ba'ahl would walk around in the nude if he could. Aside from just being that confident in himself+his body, his tribe was not precious about people's bodies so he doesn't view showing skin as an inherently sexual or exposing thing. In his perspective clothes are to decorate the body, not cover it up

Ba'ahl is very muscular, but his muscles are quite compact. He's very tall for a miqo so I imagine he has a hard time putting on weight whether that be fat or muscle. He exercises constantly, both cardio and strength, so pm all the weight he does have is lean muscle
