This is so depressing. Incredible smaller devs had a hard time standing out on Steam even before AI. A project that someone poured half a decade of their life into is having its spot taken by an unending stream of this soulless slop.

RE7 also struggled with this. That final fight against the Dad took way too long, and was a real momentum killer. The series as a whole has struggled with what to do with bosses. Maybe RE9 will finally be where they figure it out.
