#WeightUpdate down nearly 20lb!

I also was complimented by a woman who I asked to look at my dating profile pics when she said I needed to delete a pic I took last fall, she said I look way bigger in the pic!

At this rate, I might be able to achieve a stretch goal of 100lbs down in a year!

I’m so happy that the trend downwards is continuing!

As I’ve been self reflecting this holiday season I’ve realized that I have been using food as a replacement for human connection. Reconnecting with friends and family has brought me more joy than any pizza ever did.

It’s been 19 days since I decided to start tracking my #weightloss journey.

Down 4lbs is honestly a happy surprise. I haven’t been eating super-nutritious meals ( grilled ham&cheese, but on homemade bread ), had a family visit so ate out at restaurants a few times / filled the house with snacks

Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, as far as we know. Food / diet is our only energy intake. Most of the energy we use is #BMR.

Weight loss is primarily about #diet . #Exercise helps the body burn a small amount of excess calories and has compounding mental effects, but diet is fundamental.
