So the current news is ICE gear is available online for ~$20 and bad (worse?) actors will use this to kidnap people individually, rather than governmentally.
Why doesn’t everyone just get some gear, Texas hold ‘em shades, and a bandana - then refuse to show any ID, demand ID and refuse to show ID.

Since the election in November 2024, I have heard a variety of concerns from Oklahomans about President Trump and his Administration. Disagreements with policy decisions or personality traits of an elected official does not constitute grounds for impeachment. I did not call for President Biden's impeachment, even though we had strong policy differences. Impeachments are very disruptive to our political discourse, which is why the Constitution reserves it for high crimes and misdemeanors. Impeachment is not a mechanism for expressing disapproval of a President. … If the House specifies the grounds for impeachment and approves the articles of impeachment by a simple majority, the matter is presented to the Senate. A conviction on any one of the articles of impeachment requires the support of a two-thirds majority of the Senators present. However, impeachment does not always lead to removal from office. If a conviction occurs, the Senate has some authority to determine the appropriate punishment. Constitutionally, the penalty for an impeachable offense is limited to either removal from office, or removal and prohibition against holding any future offices. A separate vote with a simple majority is necessary should the Senate deem it appropriate to disqualify the individual convicted from holding future federal offices of public trust. Throughout history, the House has impeached 21 individuals: 15 federal judges, one Senator, one Cabinet member, and three Presidents. The Senate has conducted 21 full impeachment trials. In a release, Arizona Attorney General, Kris Mayes called Trump‘s tariff scheme “insane”. She said it was “not only economically reckless. It is illegal.“ The lawsuit maintained that only Congress has the power to impose tariffs and the president can only invoke the international emergency economic powers act when an emergency presents and “unusual and extraordinary threat“ from abroad.

Reading this law broadly enough to uphold the China tariff would transfer core legislative power,” NCLA President Mark Chenoweth said in a statement. “To avoid that nondelegation pitfall, the court must construe the statute consistent with nearly 50 years of unbroken practice and decide it does not permit tariff setting.” Though the lawsuit does not take issue with Trump’s declaration of an opioid-related emergency, the NCLA says that the decision to impose wide-reaching tariffs as a response was made without legal authority. “His China Executive Orders show no connection between the opioid problem and the tariff he ordered — much less that the tariff is ‘necessary’ to resolve that problem. The means of an across-the-board tariff does not fit the end of stopping an influx of opioids, and is in no sense ‘necessary’ to that stated purpose,” according to the complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, Pensacola Division. “In fact, President Trump’s own statements reveal the real reason for the China tariff, which is to reduce American trade deficits while raising federal revenue.”
