Ghadeer, a nurse with Project Hope in Gaza, said: “The number of malnutrition cases has skyrocketed. Two months ago, malnutrition cases did not exceed 50 cases per day. Now, we’re seeing about 200 cases per day. Many of the children we see haven’t eaten real food in weeks – only the nutritional biscuits we distribute. They’re losing weight, becoming withdrawn, and getting sick more easily. We are doing everything we can, but we’re seeing the consequences of extreme hunger in an entire generation. Without more food and aid coming in, I fear for their future.”

My two year old niece loves dictating stories and I’m not exaggerating when I say she is her generation’s Gertrude Stein.
Happy birthday boo-boo! Once upon a time, she wanted a painting thing. She wanted a paint brush too. She’s going to paint her book. She was Chappell Roan. She wanted some broccoli too. Dr. Zaher Al-Wahidi, the Director of the Information Unit at the Ministry of Health in Gaza, told Drop Site Tuesday afternoon that 174 children and 89 women were killed in the Israeli attacks. Local health officials and witnesses said that the death toll is expected to rise dramatically because dozens of people are believed to be buried under the rubble of the structures where they were sleeping when the bombing began. “We can hear the voices of the victims under the rubble, but we can’t save them,” said a medical official at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Video posted on social media by Palestinians inside Gaza portrayed unspeakable scenes of the lifeless bodies of infants and small children killed in the bombings.
