Normalize feeling happy for your ex finding love with someone else. Just because it ended doesn’t mean you have to be bitter, you loved this person and wanted to give them the world. You should want that for them even if it’s not with you.

Ending 30 yr friendships with people because they choose to never change is a very weird, but freeing feeling. I would hate for o say I’m the same person I was at 27 when I’m 37. Gotta learn and grow.
