I got a free MacBook pro from 2010 from a coworker waiting to recycle it and I put my old 250g SSD in it with Linux mint already installed and honestly it was so easy. Now I have a new (to me) laptop that boots up in seconds and can handle some easy writing web browsing and fiddling around

I went around asking all my coworkers if they had an old laptop that I could have and one of my coworkers had three laptops in their car waiting to be recycled.

I'm having a great time fiddling with my PC doing a dual boot of Linux/win11
However I just had to put OneDrive back on my PC(just in case I screw something up and need to recover) and tell me how they just added a bunch of previously deleted files telling me I needed to upgrade my storage.

How is it always something??? My car broke down at least 6 times this past year... Traded it in for a newer more reliable one and now my spouse's car has been in the shop almost once a month since then.

Question for librarians: I know audiobooks are expensive for you- is it rude of me to loan the same cover twice just bc I wanna read it again? I feel like I'm potentially stealing the title from someone else to borrow

I'm learning German and honestly why am I having so much fun to want to do it all the time?? It's been less than a week and I don't think I'm actually pronouncing anything correctly but I've never been able to learn another language before

I gotta admit I'm pretty impressed with the new pack so far...
I made an enchanted b&b to run as a small business but it didn't work as intended but with the getaway planning it's much better.

Digging into world building on my fantasy novel but I'm struggling with language and culture specifically naming people and places based on the region. I want to pull from irl but also feel I'm not educated enough on anything to feel I've done it well.

I find it funny that I saw an article this morning saying EA was merging/being bought out by a private equity firm in Saudi and then they announce they are not realizing new content to focus on bugs Like I'm happy don't get me wrong I don't even plan on buying the new pack but the timing seems fishy
