And about og being difficult… no it’s not, base game on its own had some challenging moments but most of them were DLCs or optional fights like Zote or Failed Champions but you could beat the game without tormenting yourself

Not to say that game is bad or awful, on the contrary game is awesome and with deeper look most of problems can be countered with in game tools , it’s just some questionable design choices that when combining reeeally piss off

Next point “you can just heal 3 masks instantly” well for that you need full meter and some time Good luck getting any of that when you die to 3 hits (especially when dealing with something big and fast moving) and if you get hit mid heal you Basically risking to lose all your soul and masks

Okay here is some points for Criticism- double damage
Especially contact double damage

In og game only remarkable double hit damage MOBS are guardian husks , greater city watch, jellyfishes and Great hoppers. And most of them can be easily ignored or avoided
