Maybe I should actually write about all the books I read. Longer reviews @ https://curiousartifacts.substack.com.
Another #non-fiction read. Best for folks actually involved in #union #organizing. Still interesting for all audiences, but it's incredibly detailed in its case studies. Good analysis of what works and what doesn't.

I'm new to #mutualaid but this was a good, concise introduction. The latter half better for folks who have actually started doing the work. (Which will hopefully be me soon!) #BookSky #Non-Fiction #Activism

Enjoyed my first dive into Clark's #steampunk alternate history #fantasy. (More 3.5/5 than 3/5 honestly.) Setting is obviously great, but I enjoyed the three female leads. Can definitely see this as the type of series where I get more into it as I spend more time with the characters. #BookSky

Introducing Mochi, our #calico #tabby 3 year old girl. Also know as Burburp. She has one of the most unique face patterns I've ever seen! #catsofbsky

I thought this would be standalone, and I'm so glad it's not! Chakraborty has such an effortless and comfortable style. Amina is a very lovable, takes no-shit female protagonist. I'm also glad for the references at the end; the setting of the Indian Ocean is so fascinating!

First book of the year! A bit disappointing. Not enough Zetian just tearing shit up. Not enough mecha battles. But still enjoyable, and I'm excited for the next one.
