A future begins with right now, hope brings new destiny. I mourn for the departed, while awaiting new tides. Time may part, but faith reunites.

Hey Sean Laraway
I might not see eye to eye on SAG but there is a small chance there is someone impersonating you on Wikipedia (they deleted account) and YouTube using your full name. Please do verify if the person is you or if it is some acting as you. I want to give benefit of the doubt.

I mean, democrats didn't do themselves any favours on how they messaged themselves either.

I mean, I don't know how you can equate the weight of an autocracy to the weight of a company that follows democratic principles.

For me the funniest irony is that when SAG setup the California Bill that gives Actors AI protection, they specifically took out VA Replicas (What the VAs specifically want) out of the bill. It says something when China has better AI protection than you

Fair opinion, atleast to me
June 25, 2025 at 10:12 AM
That is a fair opinion to take. I personally think GR1 should be removed instead and the union is reworked to better represent the VAs compared to whatever weed the present heads of the association are smoking
June 25, 2025 at 10:12 AM
Nah, don't worry, Enigmata looks different but it funny to look at, wasn't
saying you copied.
June 25, 2025 at 10:10 AM
Yup, that's my assumption. He isn't being hypocritical in this case. Atleast from my interpretation. Though in exchange he being extremely obtuse
June 25, 2025 at 4:01 AM
This is just an inference, though; he hasn't stated the following. I asked him if he could clarify in an different thread, no response tho
June 25, 2025 at 12:28 AM
It's less to do with Hoyo than the signing Studio as it presently seems. From what he has said, his original contract with Formosa doesn't have AI prots, and that's why he refuses to act. His voice in HSR is with Rocket, and is a different contract, hence why he has no issues.
June 25, 2025 at 12:27 AM
No, its mine
June 25, 2025 at 12:00 AM
As I understand recently:
1) It doesn't have a law per se, but a precedent set by a few other cases of Replicas generated AI.
2) It seems they can technically sign with a foreign union, but the union rules do not apply in China since the CCP would supersede them. (There is mixed info about this)
June 24, 2025 at 11:58 PM
Why does this look like the Enigmata from HSR
June 24, 2025 at 11:28 PM
Fair enough. I was just making my point clear and that my inference is sound. And if you had counter information for me to change my inference or understanding
Take care regardless, and nice convo :)
June 24, 2025 at 11:26 PM
I am not here to pick a fight, I am here to understand. Rather than just accepting what one side says, I want all perspectives. Taking one side of a conversation will lead you to bias and I don't wanna be bias. I just want the truth.

Tell me the flaw in my logic is
Or give me a counter example.
June 24, 2025 at 11:22 PM
To influence the contract that much. Sean doesnt seem to have a standing against Hoyo itself since he worked for the HSR thing. So my only deduction is the studio is incharge of the contract.
June 24, 2025 at 11:21 PM
I mean, I am talking his word. He specifically said he had a different Contract to do the HSR voice. From this setup of 3 variables, only 1 has changed. The Studio. If Hoyo made the contract, we not use the original one Diluc had or take another VA? Hoyo didn't seem to care so hoyo doesn't seem
June 24, 2025 at 11:21 PM
That said, since he has spoken about the contract publicly as reason he refuses to work, I am making the inference
June 24, 2025 at 11:13 PM
I can't tell what it is, but can tell what it isn't from inferencing it
