start slow and low (5 mins to start) and work your way up. give yourself grace. meditation laterally is retraining your brain so - like physical exercise - needs to be practiced.

do you have any coping mechanisms to help with tasks that trigger an anxiety response? a mindfulness practice of some kind? doing some guided meditation or a light 5 min yoga routine might help.
