skin still eludes me but i at least really like how i rendered the leather here #myart

this ones vulnerable for me bc i feel like i cant draw viera well at all so i never draw her consistently and i never finish art of her BUT- these 2 sketches are my favorite art i’ve drawn of valra…
thancred (when he was possessed by lahabrea) and valra, my viera warrior of light, fighting during porta decumana. valra is dealing the ‘killing blow’ with her sword seen driven into thancred’s chest and her expression is pained. both of lahabrea!thancred’s hands are raised to inflict magical damage, and he is snarling valra, my viera warrior of light, seen from the back, smiling as she leans against a fence. next to her is a sketch of her being raised from the dead by hydaelyn, as referenced by hydaelyn’s line “beloved daughter”

valra’s pl is one of my favorite of all my playlists. i tend to go for lyrics over sound so sometimes the transitions aren’t the most harmonious. probably gauche to say ptolemaea is THE valra song for me, alas.
