I had fun writing the little story that pairs with it, even if it just distracted me from making the actual avatar lol.
The description logs for an abnormality from the Lobotomy Corporation, the title reads Anathematic Shores and depicts a hazy riverbed. The log reads as such Before joining the corporation, I remember an old river that flowed down near my old home near (Omitted), I was always told to avoid the river, that it was dangerous to be around it alone because of how quick the water was; it could sweep you away in a blink of an eye. But I never saw it, the water moved calmer than ever. Everytime I took that guilty stroll down the river bank despite the warnings, I thought there was simply no way that the water was dangerous. I had been around it for so long that I started looking for signs of this dangerous current, but I just couldn't see it coming. I truly wondered where these warnings came from, why had people thought the river was so dangerous, the waters have been calm for so long. Then one day walking down the river, I heard ever increasing sounds of crashing waves, it sounded like I was at the ocean. I felt a sudden fear, and yet I pressed on. As if my body seemingly moved forwards on its own, I continued down the river bank despite the ever growing dread, it was then I finally saw it. The river cascaded into a flurry of waves and debris, chipping away at the shoreline, it changes so suddenly, no one would suspect the river to be so dangerous There is a perfect split in the middle of the river, one side having the calmest waters you’ve ever seen, and the other half powerful enough to rip a warship in half <Excerpt From Counseling Log> Something has crawled out of that damn river, we don't know when or more importantly from what side of it. It has weapons, weapons that it knows how to use; it's trained better than most of the agents I've seen file into this company. Our best hope is that it comes from the calmer side, and it merely attempts to defend others from whatever hell lies dormant in those waters, unfortunately, it seems to want to defend the river as a whole

I haven't posted about it just yet to keep it a secret from him, but I'll soon be sharing the avatar I've been working on as a Christmas present for a friend, in the meantime here is the thumbnail for the avatar and a little lore page I made.

I thought this one would be simple to do since, you know, but I genuinely for the life of me could not recreate the crack in the photo in a way I liked it. Luckily @vixianuwu.bsky.social helped me finalize it and it turned out wonderfully
