For tools like scale or rotate, go into the settings and set the interpolation method to "hard edges" to preserve the crisp pixel look.

That should cover the basics. From there, you can just draw like you normally would!

Start by setting up your canvas to the desired size (you can always adjust it later). Set the resolution to 72 dpi.

Before you begin drawing, make sure to set your main tools like the pen, eraser, fill bucket, and lasso to "None anti-aliasing" to keep the edges clean and pixel-perfect.
