Horror is my #1 love. Also, Survivor obsessed, but loving The Traitors. Queer woman, mother of one, a long-time restaurant worker, book lover and a wannabe storyteller. Here to share good vibes.
The story, direction, cinematography, and the mystery are all so good that it's hard to imagine one performance within all of the awesomeness moving me so much. I'm now a fan of EVERYONE who helped make this beautiful experience of a show. Watch Night Country if you haven't already!

Also, Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing. I don't care. It must be heard.

I love this. I actually cheered when I saw that Rachel pulled it off. So then my 4 year old also started shouting "yes" and cheering with me. It's like next generation Survivor queen meets next generation Survivor fan😍

Well, those are my Halloween season watches. I feel like I could write essays on many. I originally got on Twitter to talk Survivor. Then I found the online horror peeps. Seeing/interacting w/ other fans & horror creators has brought me joy & made horror movies even more fun. Thanks for listening.

Thanks to my Shudder account, In A Violemt Nature was waiting for me as soon as I was brave enough to watch it. Damn. I was not prepared to be hypnotized like that. Pretty much everything about it worked for me. Now I know what everyone was talking about when they say "that death scene".

A friend recommended Curse and Cult of Chucky (sadly never watched by me until now). Curse set me up to fall in love with Cult. Watching them back to back was so perfect. It is so cinematic and pretty, intensely & deeply dark in subject, but still a fun Chucky experience somehow.

Woman of the Hour rewired my brain. In a good way. I was just so blown away by how much of a woman's daily experience is captured in this horrific true story. These victims were not depicted gratuitously. Instead of elevating 1 man's actions, we got to see many strong, smart women.

Hush is watchable again! The physical release is on my Xmas Wish List (along with The Stand from the 90s).

Goosebumps for the kiddo. She also really liked Curse of Bridge Hollow. She watched w/ her dad while I was working. The football players coming to life made her a zombies fan!

I am not a Rob Zombie Halloween hater. I love seeing Sheri do the mom thing. I liked that he wasn't just the boogeyman, he was a real guy.

House of 1000 Corpses is my favorite of his. I know it's his first, & maybe not perfect. But it's my intro to Sid Haig, Bill Moseley and Sheri Moon Zombie.😍

My Candyman rewatch coming just a few weeks before we lost Tony Todd. Ppl like him made me feel happy to be in the horror world. I loved this so much more on the rewatch. I just got to appreciate all of the stuff that kid me could not grasp on my first watch.

The Deliverance: again, motherhood is hard. This one gets me in the feels. The ending was so lovely to me, as an ex Mormon who was taught only men w/ the priesthood had the power to do what this mom does. Also, looking up everything Andra Day has ever been in, because she was so good.
