I would be so much more open about enjoying musical theatre if the concept of a musical that takes place in a high school never existed

Working at a music store is fantastic because you get to talk to all types of musicians and learn more about them, often helping them on different important moments in their journey.The only downside is management pressuring you to upsell. Except if that store is Guitar Center, then everything sucks

Why are people always saying how much we need funding for arts in schools because music is so good for developing minds while drawing the line at genres that aren’t classical or jazz music? Local music scenes all over the country exist and thrive through passion for the craft alone with zero (1/-)

The more I learn about music and music theory the more I feel like music theory isn’t actually as hard as it seems for a lot of people. There’s just a lot of people who overcomplicate it when teaching others so they can look down on them and make themselves feel smart.
