I've a friend who reps a bunch of music venues in the U.S. She said there is a lack of bands willing to tour right now. Many issues are because of immigration problems. They’re stopping some bands from coming to the states. This is starting to affect huge ticket and concert promoters in the U.S.

Costco should win this case. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court will make a decision to allow the tariffs. Trump owns the court, and they will rule the tariffs are legal, even when we all know they aren’t.

I’m complaining because this whole Trump thing isn’t going to end well for us. We’re headed for a very rough time, and there’s no adults in this government who will be able to fix it. Look up Herbert Hoover, except this time imagine a much worse and more corrupt situation. That’s what we’re in for.

Your taxes are paying for the policies of this government. Currently all three branches are controlled by MAGA Republicans. I don’t understand why you’re complaining about paying taxes in these circumstances. I’m really annoyed that my money is supporting this government, but I pay taxes anyway.

Nobody likes paying taxes. You have a choice in this matter, you could move to a country with no income tax. Somalia doesn’t have any income tax and housing is really cheap there.

Back in the 19th Century the U.S. Govt. was funded largely by tariffs on imported goods. Eventually, the money raised by the tariffs could not sustain the spending by the Govt. This is why the income tax was introduced in 1913. Between our spending and our debt, tariffs cannot replace income taxes.

How can they condemn something if they don’t know what it is? BTW: If this is the sort of legislation the House is trying to pass, I’m not bothered by it. I will get annoyed if they start trying to pass legislation which negatively affects us all. Legislation like this is pointless and harmless.
