Lesson in managing failure from my 2.5-year-old:

I accidentally punched his favourite ball. Instead of being upset, he smiled and said, "It’s a ladybug!"

What I saw as a mistake, he turned into something creative. A reminder: failures can be opportunities in disguise.

Two days ago, my wife and I baked Christmas ornaments from applesauce & cinnamon.

Double-checked the instructions:
- 200°C, 2 hrs.

Or so we thought. Turns out it was 200°F.

The result? Charcoal. 😂

But we kept them—imperfect & oddly charming. Quirks make the best memories.
