The worst part is just being expected to go through the day as regular. Like I'm not seething in my cubicle and dreading the future.

No joke, Pokemon and Mario games from the old days seem to be the worst. Wish I'd held on to some of my old cartridges back in the day instead of stupidly selling them off to GS for new games.

Grew up that way, too. At least it's taught me that a little optimism is never unwarranted. And lifting my friends up with some silliness is worth its own weight.
