Jesus Christ Superstar. I used to listen to it as fast as 33rpm would allow and as often as I could flip the discs. When they handed out Gideons bibles at school, I read it cover to cover like a novelisation.

I'm sorry, and I know it highlights my ignorance, but on first hearing Jacobs School of Music sounds a bit like Bob's Institute of Evening Medical Studies 😊

I hate that it draws me in but today I am proud that I was able to say "not today". One day at a time. One day at a time. Localtemperaturesystemsfeelnaturaltolocalpeoplebecausethats whattheygrewupwithjustletitgo!
Sorry. I feel so embarrassed!

And just for the record, because any ambiguity can be interpreted as malice by default, I believe the aging academic is the moral vacuum...

I'm lazy and refuse to use AI so this is the best I am willing to do to reduce the message to something they might understand...

Am gloriously seeing more of this in the workplace. People going full foot-in-mouth relying on summaries of documents (and meetings). Lack of understanding as well as AI fueled alternate realities that just burn time to correct

When the friend you trusted to hold your spare keys goes on a bender then has a raging party in your house when you are at work that ruins the place you don't put them back into the key-trust rotation just because the judge forced them to enrol in a 12-step program..

In the story they credit smart devices with health tools as a factor. It is how I realised I had a problem a half dozen years ago...

I am wondering if he might not enjoy being a lame duck, so long as he is protected from censure - he gets to blame congress for the failure of his policies and rail at confected injustices (electoral fraud FUD, paranoia about congress being out to get him). Political martyrdom

"Ripley was evil, surviving as a mockery to the sacrifices of TWO crews (and some adjacent women), murdering an organism trying to practice traditional motherhood, then dying twice without taking her proper place in a husband-led household" - a clattering basement keyboard, somewhere.

It's just a beefed-up dog. No, not that dog. Not that one either. Come on, have you ever seen a dog? Those dogs. You know, the horsey ones. Forget it.

I guess my thing would be you do what you need to do, and let others do what they need to do, and all respect that you have something you all need to do...

It would be worthy enough if they'd raised a hundred dollars, but holy hell that's impressive. I know there won't be 100%conversion rate, but imagine a sea of red beanies in every Cafe and on every street corner.

From the point of view of the oil industry, the high OpEx is a feature not a bug. Every link in the chain, from oilfield to pump, is a profit point and the chaining of motorists to oil is a disincentive to optimise for price.

On a similar journey, though with a bit farther to travel, yet. I hope you feel like you can be more you!

I hope my own comments didn't convey anything more than the idea that every voting decision is a vote (also my gratitude to not be caught up in the US electoral system!). I genuinely have sympathy for the American electorate. (not saying any other system is perfect btw)
