Absolutely, but it got surpassed by a cheaper product that didn’t cost so much to produce and distribute. The power needed to make AI and crypto work will doom them as well.

The OP is right about hearing/feeling the voices of past residents and builders when renovating an historic building. But whenever you say “what were they thinking?”, there’s a feeling that some old carpenter’s ghosts are nodding thier heads in agreement .

And one of those voices will be a stonemason cussing out the homeowner for changing the design mid-project, the same voice heard for centuries on every building site. There are some things we can depend on, after all.

I produced the play “Peter Pan” while in LA. We stuck to the original score except for a couple spots: for the scene-change into Wendy’s house we used “Wouldn’t It be Nice” whose lyrics are exactly what the following scene is about. The LA audience of course knew the song & started SINGING ALONG!😊

To clarify, the original article was about a minor kerfluffle over permits for an outdoor
