It’s ridiculous how hard it’s been to get the Zoroark promo in TCG Pocket. All this time and even with the bonus event, I have only ever gotten TWO. Meanwhile Zorua and Tropius are up to fricking 18 each!

When I get a brand-new toy from Amazon in MINT packaging, I feel conflicted! Someone else would be thrilled to get this and promptly put it in a MOC Master or something whereas I’m going to tear this shit open and recycle or trash the rest of it.

Even earning the emblems sucks. There are two standard emblems and - if you collected like me - you earned almost all the themed collection missions immediately (those DO count either set), they still require *350* unique cards registered to have enough points to buy both emblems.

While there’s player upside, so far a lot of collector downside, but at least it’s great that a four-diamond minimum is guaranteed, right? Well, there’s only four cards per pack, parallel foils doubling set size, AND that guaranteed hit means ALL picks are 3-stamina minimum, draining wonder stamina.

Collector number, as we saw with Old Amber when the game updated after Mythical Island, no. And this means my nice set completion goal is unfulfilled, AND pack points go to an entirely new set (with only four cards per pack) that vanishes for an unknown time in a month. Good for gameplay at least.

If you need a lot of cards that are in its set, it might be compelling at least to fill collection holes, but only kinda! As an example, I had no Lugia ex. First pack I open, Lugia ex, woohoo, sweet!
