I decided to try a "quick art," giving myself no more than 15-30 minutes to create a drawing from scratch. I rather like how this turned out.

My colored pencils drawing, A House in the Hills, is now complete. Feeling good. 😊

Colored pencils drawing, A House in the Hills, is nearly done. Making the stylized trees more distinctive so as to better see them against the background, and more work on the river, and some burnishing remain to be done.

My progress photo from 6 days ago so you can see the progress.

Feels good. 😊

More progress on my colored pencil drawing, A House in the Hills. It's beginning shift from something with potential to feeling like a real drawing to me. I love this phase of the work.

We saw Wicked Part 1 in 3D a couple of days ago. Loved it. There are a number of "making of" videos on YouTube.

I advise to not watch this unless you've already seen the movie. Trust me - you don't want any spoilers, even something like the methods & special effects.

My wife and I are fans of kdramas. Currently watching Doctors Slump. It's very different from Hometown Cha Cha Cha the show has a lot of heart. Good acting, reasonably paced, and a good, intriguing story.

Progress on my current drawing: A House in the Hills. The reference is an image from Pixabay. It's good to start working on drawing again. Medium: colored pencils

Challenges: getting proportions right and blending the colors I have to more closely match the colors in the reference.
