The Tories are literally the reason for high energy prices. We have really low gas storage in the UK. That meagre capacity reduced under 14 years of the Tories. The result of that is that we get charged higher spot prices that we have to pay because we have no storage.

Never make the mistake of voting according to the polls. Unless it's days before a general election (when the polls are obliged to be somewhat accurate to remain credible) you can disregard polls. They exist to influence voting. Reject pollsters. Vote as your conscience guides you.

He helped ensure that a government that would have acted as a buffer against it wouldn't get elected. He also helped Starmer win the leadership. It is a bit galling to me to watch him win plaudits for protesting the outcome of something he enabled. With friends like him who needs enemies.

Not undermining that achievement because it was a brilliant innovation but what most people think of the internet (the World Wide Web) is a British invention, invented by Sir Tim Berners-Lee. The internet before HTML didn't and wouldn't have had mass appeal
